Transform CAD Files with Anark Core

Transformation is a term used to describe the process of removing unnecessary parts, assemblies, features, or sensitive designs (IP) from CAD models to prepare the CAD data for use in other design, review, simulation, visualization, or documentation applications. Anark Core allows users to remove parts, holes, fillets, and other features while preserving the integrity and precision of the original part or model. Watch Anark Core in action.

Anark Core is the ideal application for preparing CAD models for CAE applications like Nastran.

Translation vs. Transformation

Anark Core helps you repair, prepare, and simplify complex CAD assemblies for your particular use case. CAD translators facilitate migration of CAD assemblies between authoring tools, and can enable interoperability between CAD tools. Transformation of CAD data takes a broader view of exchanging files that includes not just translation, but also tackles how to provide use-case specific CAD geometry to all the parties that depend on it for their job function.

Hole and Fillet Removal

Anark Core facilitates hole and fillet removal by providing users with parametric controls to select and remove these features from parts or entire assemblies. Use the Hole Diameter slider to precisely choose a threshold and remove every hole or fillet within those bounds. Remove thousands of holes in minutes, not hours.

Parts Removal

Removing parts from CAD models can be a laborious, time consuming process. Anark Core makes this process easy: Simply select a part or assembly and apply a delete action. Unique, parametric selection controls allow users to delete parts that fit within specific bounding diagonals, enabling efficient removal of thousands of parts at once.

Tessellate

In addition to the ability to export manufacturing-quality solids, Anark Core provides precise tessellation controls that can be used in conjunction with defeaturing tools to create mesh models optimized for real-time visualization applications. Unlike other solutions which lack defeaturing tools, Anark Core can dramatically reduce the number of polygons in a mesh derived from a high-precision model making it an ideal solution for creating geometry for design review, product illustration, or documentation applications.
